Hallo!!! My name is Paula, I’m 19 years old and I’m from Granada, but I’m currently living my Au Pair experience in Berlin with a great family.
The truth is that what led me to make this decision was the simple fact that since I was 15 years old I had been dreaming about it, the summer of the year I turned 16 I was looking for information, but I still could not do it because the age to be an Au Pair is from 18 to 30 years old, but finally this year I realized that I had time and that this is an experience that you have to live yes or yes.
Right now I have been living in Germany for 3 months as an Au Pair and the truth is that it is being a 10/10 experience, I am meeting a lot of people from many places, I am learning German and I am soaking up their culture and history.
The family is really lovely, I “take care” of a 13 year old girl, because her mother is usually not at home due to work, but the truth is that we have become flesh and blood and I adore her, our favourite activities are shopping, cooking …..
On a personal level this experience has given me a lot, it is making me a more organised person, more responsible, punctual (which is not my strong point hahahahahah).
The truth is that it is an experience that I would recommend and that I hope to repeat in the future :))))
