In your free time you could attend classes to improve your language skills at a nearby language school or go out with your new friends to continue practising the languageTravel and discover the culture of another country
Being an Au Pair gives you the option to have a cultural immersion in a new country and live an unforgettable personal experience. Travelling is a great opportunity to get to know other cultures, their traditions, their history and of course to meet people and make friends. The Au Pair cultural exchange programme in a host family will allow you to get to know their way of life, customs and traditions. The families are very sociable and welcoming. In most cases they have 1 or 2 children on average and both parents work. You will be part of the familyYou decide how long you want to enjoy your stay
The most common stays are from 6 to 12 months in which you will be able to have a complete cultural immersion. You can also opt for a shorter stay, such as the summer programme which usually lasts about 3 monthsCan I become a Kidowe Au Pair?

Responsibilities of an Au Pair
- Responsible for the care of the children
- Teach them the language
- To follow and respect the rules of the house set by the family
- Play with the children in an empathetic way
- Prepare simple meals for the children
- Collaborate in simple household chores to keep the house clean and tidy
Under no circumstances will an Au Pair be treated as domestic staff and will never do heavy cleaning tasks
