What is an Au Pair?
Every Host Family should know that an Au Pair is a single person, in most cases a university student between 18 and 30 years of age, with a high educational and cultural level.
They are usually from the UE, with experience in childcare, with a very high level of English and low or medium.
They come to Spain with the purpose of learning Spanish, knowing another country, another culture, but above all to live new experiences.

What does an Au Pair offer to the Family?
The Au Pair mainly takes care of the children, plays with them, teaches them English, and does activities with them. She can also take them to school and help with simple household chores such as cleaning up the children’s room, doing laundry, preparing simple meals, tidying up the house and collaborate as one more member of the family to keep a clean and tidy home. In no case will she be treated as domestic service personnel.

PRACTICAL AU PAIR TRAINING It is the only training recognised and certified by the IAPA (International Au Pair Association) and the BAPAA (British Au Pair Agencies Association). The training is based on the practical application of the Au Pair’s day to day life in normal situations. The Au Pair receives an approved certificate.

Types of Stays
One to three months
The summer months are the most common for this type of of stay350€

Medium-term stays for families who need a person beyond the summer months.450€

Have a complete experience with a long term Au Pair.550€
* The RESERVATION is the start of the Au Pair application process. This is the moment when we start selecting candidates. The process begins with the registration of the family on the website (which is free of charge), at which point we receive the request and that is when we contact you to formalise the reservation and begin the selection of the candidates most suited to your needs. * The AGREEMENT is signed and paid once the family has chosen the candidate. We will then contact the Au Pair to confirm that she/he has been chosen by the family. This fee does not include KIDOWE’s exclusive validation plan. In case the Family cancels the service before the signing of the Agreement, they will not be entitled to a refund of the Reservation and will not have to pay any additional amount. If the Family cancels up to 2 days after the signing of the Agreement, the Family will have to pay 50% of the total amount of the Agreement as a handling fee. After these two days, no cancellations will be accepted.
