Hello, we are a Spanish-German family living in the German city of Düsseldorf. We have three children between 10 and 5 years old. Since the beginning of the year, we have had an Au Pair previously selected by the agency Kidowe. The experience has been very positive. Her name is Martina, and she is Spanish. She quickly got on very well with the children, took them to the swimming pool, played with them, taught them Spanish songs, and also helped them to do their homework and improve their Spanish while she improved her German.
Unfortunately, Martina has had to return to Spain, a job opportunity has arisen that she could not turn down, as this is what she has always wanted to be. We would have liked her to stay here longer, but we understand her situation and hope that one day we will be able to see her again – she has a house in Düsseldorf, and we have a house in Barcelona!
Our contact with KIDOWE has been very positive from the beginning of the process. They are lovely, they also understand very well the situation of the host families, as many of them have been Au Pair or have Au Pair at home. They are always available for any questions, both with us and with the Au Pair, we will come back!
