Hello, my name is Judith, and I am going to tell you about my experience as an Au Pair in Belgium. I started in October last year and I want to stay here for at least one year in the wonderful city of Leuven.
Why to be an Au Pair? Well, I decided to become an Au Pair because I wanted to live in a different country, to get to know the culture of that country, its customs, its way of life and the way of being of the local people.
I was always motivated by the possibility to improve my English in a fluent way and I was given the opportunity to travel to Belgium.
My host family has 3 young children, and I was looking forward to taking care of them and teaching them a lot of things including some Spanish.
My experience with the Hanzich family is very good, they always take care of me, they help me with any problem or doubt I have, they are very close and familiar. I am very happy.
The children are amazing, they are very good, very polite, they always want to play with me, they help me to make my work easier, in short, I feel like part of the family, like an older sister.
I would recommend this experience to anyone who might have the opportunity to do it. It really helps you to grow a lot personally and learn all sorts of new things that will help me in the future for sure,
