Hello! I am an Au Pair with 19 years old and my name is Mar and this is my experience.
I decided to come to Ireland to work as an Au Pair and it has been the best decision!
My stay is going to last 10 months, at first I had planned to stay only 7 months, but as the experience has been so good I decided to extend it to 10 months.
I really wanted to continue learning English, to be able to live abroad for a while and to meet new people and get to know myself in this adventure.
The country seems to me to be the best choice to be an Au Pair, as it is a common place where you will find many friendships with young people who are doing the same as you, the Irish are lovely, and you can enjoy yourself a lot.
In my case, I have been very lucky with the family, they are wonderful and have treated me like one of their own, the children are lovely, and I really enjoy spending time with them, the parents are very attentive and have always been there for everything I have needed.
I highly recommend the experience of going to another country as an Au Pair, it is a way to grow as a person, to know how to put your independence to good use, to reinforce a new language, to meet new people and to live a unique experience for a period.
I will never regret taking this decision and trusting Kidowe for this process.
