My name is Martyna and I was an summer au pair for the first time this year. It was very important experience for me. Being an au pair is one of the best way to meet fantastic people and to know the culture of different countries. If you are interested in this type of “journey” I have some advices which can help 😉
Don’t treat this as a job. You have to remember and feel that you are a new member of family!
Start looking for the family early enough. You have to be sure about your host family because you will spend a few months with them. Take your time and be calm
Don’t worry if you are nervous. It’s normal when you don’t know the people.
Try to find other au pairs who will be near to your “host city”. It will be easier to have somebody with who you can spend your free time.
Chill!!! I’m 100% sure that Spanish people will help you with this 😉
